Shalom Dear Pastors and workers in the field:
I am writing this note to give you an update on what is happening with our attempts to promote the pro-life agenda in our state. I will have to be honest with you, for some time I was in a funk and didn’t know where to go and what to do. We were flatly ignored by Elizabeth Warren and things weren’t going anywhere.
I have been in prayer for some time now about this, asking the Lord what the next step should be in our attempts to preserve life. Last night, I met with some wonderful ladies who are involved with the ministry called Intercessors for America. Their sole purpose is to pray for the will of the Lord to be done in our lives first our communities and in our country.
They gather in different congregations and lead in intensive prayer for these above-stated goals. These meetings are not meant to take the place of what happens in your congregations. The goal is facilitating the prayer culture to spread to your congregations.
Meeting these ladies was a kick in my tuchas to get me back on track. The Lord spoke to my heart last night and I felt a push forward to get back on the course of defending life. But, for this to happen we need each other to work together.
So, I agreed to host a prayer night specifically dedicated to the cause of praying for life and other critical matters in our state and country, seeking the Lord’s will on how we should move forward. This is not a time to back down. We have a pro-life president in office now. We need to monopolize on the momentum seize the day and move forward. If we don’t move forward now we will miss the opportunity that the Lord has given us.
So, we will be meeting at Sha’ar 2 Canton St Suite A21 Stoughton on the date of Wednesday February 26th at 7:00 pm for a solid hour of prayer seeking the face of the Lord and asking for wisdom on how we should move forward. After that we will take the time from 8:00 pm until around 9:00 pm to plan our next move forward. I have some ideas, but we need to hear from you. We need to support each other in prayer and find the Lord’s perfect will on how to move forward.
If you receive this email 2x please forgive. I am still trying to organize all of my emails and get rid of duplicates.
I look so forward to hearing from you. I pray that you will join us that night.
Shalom uvracha b’Yeshua
(Peace and blessings in Yeshua)
Rabbi Henry Morse
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. 19 Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.
20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” 21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying:
“Praise the Lord,
For His mercy endures forever.”
22 Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
